Meet Emily!
AKA @emilys_tattoo_parade
Emily (she/her) is a self-taught tattoo artist based in Brooklyn, New York, known for her vibrant color work. Her designs often feature stained glass elements, florals, expressive animals, and illustrative landscapes.
She’s a resident artist and co-owner of Obsessed Tattoo Collective, a studio she shares with two other tattoo artists and a tooth gem + grillz artist. Tattooing has been more than a career shift for her; it’s a way to create meaningful art, connect with kind and inspiring people, and build a supportive, collaborative community.
With a BFA in graphic design and a lifelong passion for drawing and painting, Emily left the corporate world in 2022 to pursue her dream job of tattooing full-time.

Stained Glass
My stained glass-inspired tattoos are definitely some of my most popular pieces.
I design most of my stained glass flash, but I’ve also collaborated with some amazing stained glass artists. I’ll turn their work into tattoos, and they’ll turn my tattoo designs into actual stained glass. It’s such a fun way to connect with other creatives and see the same design in completely different art forms.
I also offer custom stained glass designs. My favorite projects have been memorial pieces — like a childhood home or a tribute to a lost loved one. It warms my heart knowing that my client’s trust me to create such a meaningful piece for them.

Florals
Floral tattoos are some of my favorite pieces to create. There's something really special about turning someone’s body into their own personal garden.
I find endless inspiration when all the flowers bloom in the spring and summer. Catch me taking a million photos of all the flowers for future flash inspo.
All of my floral flash designs can be adjusted to fit your body or flow seamlessly around existing tattoos.

Animals, Insects, Landscapes
Much like florals, I’m naturally drawn to subject matter inspired by nature. I especially enjoy illustrating landscapes I’ve experienced in real life, reimagining them through my own style and perspective.
I’m also captivated by the vibrant colors and intricate details of insects like beetles and butterflies, as well as animals such as geckos, jellyfish, and birds.
And of course, I have a deep love for tattooing pet portraits. It’s incredibly meaningful to help clients honor their beloved companions in a way that stays with them forever.

Color on Darker Skin Tones
There’s a lack of representation and education around tattooing POC in the industry, and I’m committed to helping create a more inclusive and informed space.
Tattooing darker skin tones does require a different approach, but that doesn’t mean color tattoos aren’t an option. You absolutely can get color tattoos and don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise!
I offer color tests for Black and Brown individuals. You can learn more about tattooing darker skin tones and booking a color test here!

Black Work
While I absolutely love working with color, I understand that it’s not for everyone. All of my designs — with the exception of my stained glass pieces — can be done in black ink to suit your personal style or to better match existing tattoos.
Whether you're maintaining an all-black aesthetic or simply prefer a more minimalist look, I’m happy to adapt my designs to fit your vision. My goal is to create a piece that feels cohesive, intentional, and true to you!
